Daniel Shorten is a computing engineer with CyTRAP Labs GmbH. The company provides corporate governance support and social media monitoring to organizations worldwide.

Daniel brings five years of experience as a software developer and architect in a range of software projects. He is an expert in:

– Object-Oriented Software Development (C/C++, Delphi, Java),
– Object-Oriented Design,
– Web Programming (PHP, Apache, MySQL),
– Network Programming (Client – Server architecture),
– Embedded Software Development (Win CE), and
– Requirement Engineering.

He has been involved in several software projects dealing with security, mobile applications and highly flexible workflow engines.

He got his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Lethbridge, Canada and speaks French, as well as being a native English speaker.
