Outi Alapekkala brings 6 years of experience as an analyst and strategist in European regulation and policies on:

– science,

– research,

– innovation,

– health and

– education.

Based in Brussels, she has been involved in several projects dealing with both advanced information services and research and monitoring the EU regulatory process as well as communications.

In the past, she was involved in the feasibility study for CASEScontact – the Information Security Portal for Europeans.

She has graduated in political science from the French Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and in languages and communication from the University of Turku in Finland.

Besides being native Finnish speaker, she is fluent in French and English.
